Starting out in the morning we were cold, wet, and excited. Yep, that is me on the left in the super sexy shorts and tights. My first mile took me 19 minutes, let's hear it for the cold joints. I freaked out and called Anna to let her know she needed to double the expected time per mile. :) After meeting up with Anna, Tammy, & Spence at mile 4, I started on a nice clipped pace and was thrilled that it looked like my goal of finishing in 6 1/2 hours or less would be met. It was fun and I think I will be competing again. Stay tuned for more on the run...
